Michael S. Palmieri
Director of Research & Performance
With more than 20 years of synergistic benefits from both experience and education, Michael Palmieri is one of the most respected names in the Sports Science industry.
With his expertise in Sports Biomechanics, Michael is a Registered Strength & Conditioning Coach (RSCC), as well as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), from the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is also a USAW Sports Performance Coach, which he received while attending the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO.
Furthermore, Michael is currently pursuing his PhD in Human Performance at Concordia University, which is where he is an adjunct professor for both undergraduate and graduate Exercise Science courses, and where he attained his Master of Science degree in Exercise Science.
He also holds Specialist certifications in Heavy Sports, Combat Sports, Tactical Athletes, Speed/Power, and Physique Athletes training, and is a former powerlifter.
A Fellow at The Institute of Sports Science & Athletic Conditioning, Michael's research interests lie in the application of biomechanical marker analysis of performance testing, and its use in program design. His current studies involve evaluating changes in force and power production as a result of muscular fatigue during the high intensity training of U.S. Special Forces.
Given the name "The Oracle" by clients, Michael is very involved with many research and application institutions, as well as with numerous sports teams and athletes, and has done multiple presentations around the country for several internationally recognized organizations.
