Chef Phillip Dell
Phillip Dell is our professional Chef at the facility. Working closely with our Dieticians, especially concerning special needs, meals are planned, developed, and prepared directly for our athletes.
After receiving his Certificate of Culinary Arts at Traverse Bay Area Career Tech Center, Chef Phillip earned his Bachleors in Baking and Pastry Arts, as well as a minor in Nutritional Science, from the prestigious Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. Winning multiple awards in national culinary competitions and on the national barbeque circuit, he then earned the title "Chopped Champion" on the Food Network's Chopped competition.
After transforming himself by dropping almost 100 lbs., Chef Phillip won multiple awards in bodybuilding and three world titles in power lifting. He has received multiple endorsements from the American Heart Association (AHA), and has won the Flavors of the Heart and Clean Eating Magazine's top awards.
Chef Phillip helped create the “Teens Cook with Heart” program (“TCWH”), a school curriculum for developing young chefs. In addition, he acts as the head of the culinary department at Rancho High School in Las Vegas, mentoring his students to consecutive wins at the TCWH competition and Flavors of the Heart in 2014.

Martha is a Licensed and Registered Dietician with an emphasis in Sports Nutrition. She holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Nutritional Sciences and Kinesiological Sciences. Being a currently ranked blue-belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Martha is one of the top Combat-Sport nutrition experts in the industry.
