Internships
The Institute of Sport Science & Athletic Conditioning is honored to have become an official resource for the Dietetic Internship Program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This will allow participants in the program to include internship hours for sports dietetics and nutrition.
For more information on this intern program, please contact the Intership Program at the Department of Kinesiological & Nutritional Sciences at UNLV, or contact The Institute's resident Sports Dietician, Lacy Puttuck, for more details.
An internship at The Institute is a great opportunity for young professionals who want to grasp a better understanding of Performance Enhancement or Research & Testing while being exposed to a wide variety of professionals. Summer, fall, and spring semester internships allow hands-on proficiency, and offer real life, learn-by-doing experiences. During an internship, the intern will work with middle school, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes. This highly interactive internship program encourages initiative, providing ample opportunities to design, execute, and monitor various programs. All internships are completed on a volunteer, unpaid basis. However, interns may receive undergraduate or graduate-level course credit for their time spent with The Institute.
For more information on our internship programs and availability, please contact ISSAC directly.
