"The Arnold Strength Training Summit presents nationally recognized experts in sports training to offer the latest information on fitness and performance development.

Summit director David Sandler, a regular contributor to National Geographic network programs,  provides a forum for professional instruction, discussion and demonstration related to the sciences of sports and strength.

“The three-day event covers multiple aspects of health, fitness and sport performance to offer a unique blending of science and practice,” Sandler said.

A new highlight for 2011 is a certification program that supports training for appearance and fitness.  “We are building a research-based argument to acknowledge the effort of athletes competing at events such as those featured at the Arnold Sports Festival,” Sandler said.

The new workshop will focus on “optimal physique development including nutrition, supplementation, exercise selection and program design.”

Other new offerings include a free lecture and fitness and health evaluations; educational information for kids and families for living healthy, productive lives; a review and certification exam site for the International Society of Sports Nutrition, and demonstrations of the research and testing protocols for the network programs in which Sandler is involved."
